2024 Community Salute

The 2024 Community Salute is one TBC’s signature annual networking events and will be hosted at Suffolk University on Wednesday, March 27 from 5 to 8 pm. This hybrid event features four Boston-area university leaders in a wide-ranging panel conversation on the challenges women in top-leadership roles in higher education face given today’s fast-changing and complex environment. The confirmed panel of speakers includes:

• Julie Chen | Chancellor, UMass Lowell
• Marisa Kelly | President, Suffolk University
• Lynn Perry Wooten | President, Simmons University
• Shakenna Williams | Executive Director, Frank & EileenTM Center for Women’s Entreprenurial Leadership, Babson College (Moderator)

The 2024 Advancement Award winner will also be announced at this event. This year’s Award will be presented to a qualified regional nonprofit to support a program or initiative that advances post-secondary education access and success for women.
